Terms of use

Effective date: 14 August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Charge Roster, including the Charge Roster mobile application, website and related services. Charge Roster is operated by Juho Pulkkinen. By using Charge Roster, you agree to these Terms.

Contact: DriveCalmLabs@gmail.com

1. The service

Charge Roster helps workplaces coordinate shared electric-vehicle chargers. Depending on your role, the service may allow you to create or join a workplace, configure sites and chargers, define booking rules, invite users, view charger availability and make or manage reservations.

Charge Roster is a scheduling and coordination service. It does not control the electrical safety, physical operation, maintenance, installation or technical condition of charging hardware unless a future feature expressly states otherwise.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information and keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your Charge Roster account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Access to a workplace may depend on an invitation, membership or role granted by a workplace administrator. Administrators are responsible for managing their organization's users, chargers, booking rules and permissions appropriately.

3. Workplace administrators

If you create or administer a workplace, you confirm that you have the authority to do so on behalf of that workplace or organization. You are responsible for ensuring that configuration choices, invitations and booking rules are appropriate for your organization and comply with any internal workplace policies that apply.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Charge Roster for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes;
  • attempt to access another user's or organization's data without authorization;
  • interfere with the security, availability or operation of the service;
  • reverse engineer or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • upload malicious code or intentionally misleading information; or
  • use automated methods in a way that unreasonably burdens or disrupts the service.

5. Reservations and workplace rules

Reservations are coordination records between users of a workplace. Availability shown in Charge Roster depends on the information and rules configured for that workplace. Charge Roster cannot guarantee that a physical charger will be available, operational or technically suitable at a particular time.

Users must follow workplace-specific rules, safety requirements and any instructions relating to the physical charging equipment.

6. Pricing and paid services

Where Charge Roster offers a paid plan, the applicable price, billing period, taxes and any additional commercial terms will be shown before purchase or activation. Current public pricing may be displayed on the Charge Roster website and can change for future purchases with reasonable notice.

Any third-party payment provider used for paid services may apply its own terms. Charge Roster does not require you to provide card details directly to the mobile application unless a payment feature expressly says so.

7. Trials and promotional access

Charge Roster may offer free trials, pilot access or promotional periods. Eligibility, duration and included features may vary. Unless expressly stated otherwise, temporary free access does not create a right to continued free use after the relevant period ends.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Charge Roster available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, update, modify or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, product development or service operation.

Where a material change negatively affects an active paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and where required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

Charge Roster, including its software, branding, design and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while your access remains valid.

You retain rights in information you or your organization provide to the service. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process and display that information for operating Charge Roster.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Charge Roster at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material breaches of these Terms or non-payment of an applicable paid service.

Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue before terminating access, unless immediate action is reasonably required for security, legal or abuse-prevention reasons.

11. Disclaimers

Charge Roster is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that every feature will always be available, that all information entered by users will be accurate, or that third-party charging equipment will function as expected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Charge Roster and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from workplace scheduling decisions, unavailable charging hardware, actions of other users, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct or other matters for which applicable law prohibits limitation.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. It forms an important part of your use of Charge Roster.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date and, where appropriate or legally required, additional notice.

15. Applicable law and mandatory rights

These Terms apply alongside all mandatory rights available to you under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of protections that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
