Getting started

Getting started with Charge Roster

Set up a workplace and start sharing EV chargers fairly.

Charge Roster gives employees clear, reservable charging times while workplaces manage the shared schedule.

Set up your workplace

  1. Create your organisation during onboarding.
  2. Add a workplace site. A site represents a physical workplace where chargers are shared.
  3. Add the chargers at that site and give each one a name employees will recognise.
  4. Set the days and times each charger can be booked, together with the site's booking rules.
  5. Invite people and give them access to the sites where they may charge.

Start sharing chargers

Employees can use Charge Roster on the web or mobile app to find available time, choose a duration and make a reservation. The shared schedule shows when a booking starts and ends so the next driver knows when the charger should be free.

Charge Roster schedules access to chargers. It does not start, stop or otherwise control charging hardware, so drivers still use the charger as instructed by their workplace or charging provider.
